1. Purpose and Product Summary
This is the final checkout page where your lead officially becomes a customer. It is designed to be high-trust, secure, and optimized for Average Order Value (AOV) through an Order Bump. Goal: To collect payment details and offer one final impulse-buy addition to the order. To Do: Replace the product mockup and placeholder text with a clear "What You Will Receive" summary. Explicitly list the contents of the purchase to reduce cart abandonment and chargeback risks.
2. Payment Gateway Integration
The payment methods shown on this page will not function until you connect your own merchant accounts in the backend.
Connection: Navigate to Main Menu > Settings > Payment Gateways. You must connect Stripe (for card payments) or PayPal before the form becomes active.
The $1 Test: Systeme.io does not have a "Test Mode" for live checkouts. To ensure your funnel works, create a $1.00 internal test product and purchase it using a real card.
Note on Refunds: While you can refund your test purchase, be aware that most payment gateways (Stripe and PayPal) retain their transaction fees. Testing ensures your funnel is functional, but it may be subject to these small third-party fees.
3. Order Details and Pricing (The Resources Tab)
This is the most critical step. The checkout form will appear empty or broken to your customers if the Resources are not mapped correctly in the funnel backend.
Setup: Exit the editor and go to the Order Form step settings. Under the Resources tab, you must add the "item" the customer is buying (e.g., Course access, a Tag, or a digital Download).
Price Plans: You must also add a Price Plan under the Resources tab. This defines whether the payment is a One-time payment, a Subscription, or a Payment Plan.
Matching Info: Ensure the price listed in your page text exactly matches the price defined in your Price Plan.
4. The Order Bump (Exclusive One-Time Offer)
The "Yes, I Want It!" checkbox is your Order Bump. It is an effective way to increase profit at the point of sale.
Technical Requirement: The Order Bump will not appear on the live page unless you have configured a specific Order Bump Resource and Price Plan in the backend step settings (separate from your main product resource).
To Do: Customize the placeholder mockup and value stack text inside the editor to reflect your specific bonus offer.
5. Automation and Product Delivery
There are two ways to deliver your product after a successful payment.
Method 1 (Resources): If you are granting access to a Course or a Tag, add it in the Resources tab. This is "revocable" access; if a customer cancels a subscription or gets a refund, Systeme.io automatically removes the access/tag.
Method 2 (Automation Rules): Use this to send a Thank You email with a PDF link. Go to the Automation Rules tab of the Order Form page and add the trigger "New Sale."

6. Tax and Business Settings
VAT/Sales Tax: If you are required to collect tax, go to Settings > Sales Tax to configure your rates. These will be applied automatically based on the customer's location at checkout.
Fields: Ensure you have included the "Country" field in your form if you are selling to international customers, as this is required for tax calculation.
7. Final Checklist Before Launch
Mobile View: Verify that the "Your Details" fields and the Order Bump checkbox are easy to tap on a smartphone.
Redirect Check: Ensure the "Action on click" for the purchase button is set to To the next step (the Thank You page).
Validation: Verify that all required fields (Email, Name) are correctly marked.
Full Flow Test: Complete a live $1 purchase to ensure the Tag is added, the email is sent, and the redirect to the Thank You page functions.
